Dan Dunn is the Founder and CEO of Adyson Aviation and a business aviation executive with more than 20 years of experience specializing in aircraft sales, acquisitions, leasing, and transaction advisory services. Throughout his career, he has led and advised on more than $3 billion in aircraft transactions, earning a reputation for his expertise in transaction strategy, valuation, financing, and complex deal structuring.
Prior to founding Adyson Aviation, Dan served as Executive Vice President of Mente Group, where he led the firm's global transactions group. Based in Coastal Carolina, he works with clients throughout North America and Europe, providing strategic guidance on business aircraft acquisitions, dispositions, and fleet planning.
Dan is an active member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and was part of the inaugural class of International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) Certified Brokers. He regularly contributes to aircraft and avionics manufacturer advisory panels and evaluation boards, bringing valuable industry insight to evolving aircraft technologies and market trends.
A proud United States Air Force combat veteran, Dan has an extensive technical background in aircraft maintenance, safety, and operations. He holds both an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and a private pilot certificate and has received factory training on eight corporate aircraft platforms, including Bombardier, Boeing, Dassault Falcon, and Gulfstream aircraft. His expertise spans aircraft systems, avionics, engines, maintenance, and operational support. Dan also completed his undergraduate studies in Business Management, combining technical proficiency with decades of transaction and leadership experience.
